Nulo® Summer Games Presented by Petco® (the “Contest”) is open only to dog or cat owners who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Nulo, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. (“Petco”), Merkle Inc. (“Administrator”), and any of their parent and affiliate companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. In addition, the Contest Judges, their employees and their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) are also not eligible to participate.
Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Potential winners must also consent to a confidential background check of social media accounts, in order to claim the prize. Due to the nature of the prize offered, if a background check reveals that a potential winner engaged in conduct that could damage the reputation of Sponsor, Petco, or any of the Released Parties, as determined by Sponsor in its discretion, the potential winner may be disqualified.
Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between any other statements contained in any Contest-related materials and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
Entrants agree that they may not create entries using any
third-party artificial intelligence sites, platforms, or technologies. Entrants
agree that they may not submit entries by any automated means or use multiple
different identities, registrations, or email addresses to submit more Contest entries
than permitted by these Official Rules. Entrants also agree to not tamper with
the entry process, the operation of the Contest, to act in an unsportsmanlike
or disruptive manner, or in violation of any aspect of these Official Rules. Any
attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the
Contest or to violate any of the above requirements will void all Contest
entries of the person(s) responsible for such action
and result in their disqualification from the Contest. Entrant may also be in violation
of criminal and civil law and should such an attempt
be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any
such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to
enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that
provision.

The Contest begins on July 27, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on August 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Instagram’s servers are the official time-keeping devices for the Contest.
To participate, you will need to
have a public Instagram account. Creating an Instagram account is free but
subject to the Instagram Terms
of Use. If entering via a mobile device and using your wireless
carrier’s network, standard data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
During the Promotion Period, take the following steps to receive 1 “Contest Entry”:
· Follow @NuloPetFood and @Petco on Instagram;

Post to your inline feed a photo or video (30
seconds or less) of your pet (specifically your dog or cat) doing a “sport” and
in the original caption of your post:

(collectively, your “Post”).
· Your Post must not violate any of the Content Restrictions listed below;
· Your account settings must be public when you post and remain public until the prizes are awarded (as described in the Prize Drawing and Winner Requirements section below); and
·
You must not change your Instagram handle once
you post to enter this Contest through the time when all prizes are awarded so
we may communicate with you. See the Prize Drawing and Winner Requirements
section for details.
Note: Posts to Instagram Stories and posts where the
required hashtag and/or @mentions are included in a
comment rather than in the original caption of your Post will not be deemed
entries.
· Your Post must be in English;
· Only you and your single dog or cat may be in the Post; do not include any other individuals or pets. If requested, entrant must be able to provide proof of pet ownership.
· Your Post must be your original work;
· Your Post need not include any reference, positive or negative, to Sponsor’s or Petco’s products or services, and including such a reference in your Post will not improve your chances of winning;
· Your Post must be based on your honest opinion and personal experience;
· Your Post must not convey any claims of Sponsor’s or Petco’s products or services that would be deemed unsubstantiated or deceptive if made by Sponsor or Petco;
· Your Post must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
o Accordingly, your Post must not contain brand names or trademarks other than those owned by Sponsor and Petco; and
o Your Post must not contain content created by a third party, such as music (other than, for entrants submitting videos, music made available in the royalty-free tab on Instagram), images or artwork;
· Your Post must not disparage Sponsor, Petco, or any other person or party through false, misleading, or exaggerated statements;
· Your Post must not contain material that is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, sexually explicit, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
· Your Post must not make reference to or include: alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, prescribed drugs, tobacco or firearms/weapons, any activities that are or appear to be dangerous, or any political agenda;
· Your Post must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
· Your Post must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations of the United States or of the state where your Post is created.
If your Post conforms to all of the above requirements, you will receive 1 Contest Entry. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any Post that it finds unlawful, or in violation of these Official Rules.
You may submit 1 entry per each dog or cat you own using your personal Instagram account during the Promotion Period. Entries from Instagram accounts shared by more than 1 person shall not be valid entries. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, Sponsor and Administrator will rely on the information associated with entrant's Instagram account used to enter the Contest. If additional information provided by entrant to claim the prize is inconsistent with the Instagram account used to enter, Sponsor and/or Administrator may disqualify such entrant and such disqualification may result in the forfeiture of any prizes won. Sponsor, in its discretion, may require additional documentation from entrant to confirm entrant’s identity.
Uploading a Contest Entry constitutes entrant’s consent to give Sponsor a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such Contest Entry in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes. If requested, entrant agrees to sign any documentation that may be required for Sponsor or its designees to make use of the non-exclusive rights entrant is granting to use the Contest Entry.
Winners will be determined according to the process set forth below:
After the conclusion of the Promotion Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the 10 highest-scoring Contest Entries featuring dogs, and the 10 highest-scoring Contest Entries featuring cats (the "Finalists") from among all eligible Contest Entries received based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):
· Demonstrates Talent (33.33%);
· Entertainment Value (33.33%); and
· Quality of Photo or Video (33.33%)
In the event of a tie, the entrant whose Contest Entry received the highest score for Demonstrates Talent, as determined by the qualified judges in their sole discretion, will be deemed the applicable Finalist from among the tied entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to select fewer than 20 total Finalists, if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Contest Entries. Sponsor will not disclose judging scores.
On or around September 25, 2026, potential Finalists will be notified by direct message from @NuloPetFood on Instagram and will be directed to a secure online claim form and asked to provide their name, mailing address and date of birth to confirm eligibility and for prize fulfillment purposes within 3 days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent. If a potential Finalist cannot be contacted, fails to complete the online claim form or provide any other requested information within the required time period, the potential Finalist will be disqualified. If a potential Finalist is disqualified for any reason, a runner-up potential Finalist may be selected in their place, if any, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Only 3 alternate Finalists may be determined, after which no further Finalists will be selected.
Once the approximately 20 Finalists are secured, their Contest Entries will be judged by a second judging panel based on the judging criteria set forth in the Judging Phase 1 section above. The second judging panel will choose 6 potential “Winners”: the highest scoring Contest Entries for 1 cat and 1 dog will each be deemed the potential Gold Medalist Prize Winners, the second highest scoring Contest Entries for 1 cat and 1 dog will each be deemed the potential Silver Medalist Prize Winners, and the third highest scoring Contest Entries for 1 cat and 1 dog will be deemed the potential Bronze Medalist Prize Winners.
In the event of a tie, the Finalist whose Contest Entry received the highest score for Demonstrates Talent, as determined by the qualified judges in their sole discretion, will be deemed the applicable potential Winner from among the tied Finalists.
Potential Winners will be notified
by email from Administrator on or around October 26, 2026
and will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability
Waiver, and, where not prohibited, Publicity Release ("Declaration"),
including a consent to a social background check, which must be received by
Administrator within 3 days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in
order to claim the prize. Due to the nature of the prize offered, if a social
background check reveals that a potential Winner has engaged in conduct that
could damage the reputation of or reflect unfavorably on Sponsor, Petco or any
of the Released Parties, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the
potential Winner may be disqualified.
If a potential Winner cannot be contacted, fails to execute and return the Declaration or provide any other requested information within the required time period (if/as applicable), does not comply with these Official Rules, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, the potential Winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential Winner forfeits the prize or is disqualified for any reason, the prize may be awarded to a runner-up, if any, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Only 3 alternate Winners may be determined, after which the applicable prize will remain un-awarded.

· Certificate commemorating pet’s “endorsement contract”
· 1 specially printed Nulo pet food bag featuring an image of the winning pet
· 1 personalized video welcoming your pet to Team Nulo
ARV of Gold Medalist Prizes: $1,950.

The total ARV of all available prizes in the Contest is $8,300.
The
“Pet Athlete Endorsement Contract” is a promotional prize name only and does
not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or independent
contractor relationship between the Winner and Sponsor, Petco, or any of their
affiliates. Winners will not receive any compensation beyond the prizes
expressly stated herein and will have no ongoing obligations to Sponsor or
Petco beyond those set forth in these Official Rules.
One large bag of kibble will feed an average sized cat or dog for 1 month. A bag of Nulo kibble will have a retail value of up to $75. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except as provided in the Sponsor’s sole discretion should the prize (or a portion thereof) become unavailable. In this case, a prize or substitute prize item of equal or greater value will be offered. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. ARVs are determined as of the time these Official Rules were published and the value of a prize may fluctuate. A Winner is not entitled to any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the prize at the time the prize is awarded. Where applicable, prize style, size and all other details will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All other costs and expenses associated with acceptance of the prize that are not expressly set forth herein shall be solely the Winner’s responsibility. Prizes are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after Winner confirmation. Limit of 1 prize per pet.
By receipt of any prize, Winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc., Meta Platforms, Inc., Administrator, the Judges, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Contest and/or acceptance, use, inability to use, misuse or redemption of a prize (including any injury or harm related thereto), including without limitation any claims relating to the judging or scoring of any Contest Entry.
Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes each Winner’s consent and grant to Sponsor and its agents to use the following information about the Winner (to the extent provided by Winner as part of the entry or Winner confirmation process): Winner’s name, city, state, likeness, photograph, Contest Entry, social handle, voice, opinions and/or prize information for promotional advertising or other purposes, in any media without further notice, review, approval, payment or other consideration. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or content but may do so and may edit these materials at its sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Sponsor will not use any of the above mentioned information in a manner that is inconsistent with its Privacy Policy or applicable law.
Sponsor’s Right to Modify or Cancel:
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, including but not limited to fulfillment of the prize(s), where any of the following “Issues” occur:
· Fraud
· Technical failures;
· Human error;
· Any other factor that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest; or
· Any event or cause beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g. events such as natural calamities, national emergencies, widespread illnesses, declarations of war, acts of God, acts of terrorism) that interferes with any aspect of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Where one or more of the above Issues occurs, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may determine the Winners from among all non-suspect, eligible Contest Entries received up to time of such action using the judging procedure outlined above; and/or modify the prizes offered.
In no event will Sponsor be
obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these
Official Rules. In the event that more Winner notifications are
distributed or more prizes are claimed, due to a printing, production, seeding,
computer, or other error of any kind, than the stated number of prizes, Sponsor reserves the right to award
only the stated number of prizes based on the Winner selection process
described in these Rules.
The Released Parties are not responsible for:
· Any incorrect or inaccurate information either provided by entrants or where the incorrect information is caused by printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest;
· Technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, delays, interruptions, or disconnections to the internet, social media platforms, phone lines, or network hardware or software;
· Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Contest, including but not limited to the entry process;
· Printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest, the uploading, the processing or judging of Contest Entries or the announcement of the prizes or in any Contest-related materials;
· Late, lost, undeliverable, delayed or misdirected entries or failure to receive entries due to limitation of third-party social network platforms; If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest, if it is possible
·
Any injury or damage to persons or property
which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from
entrant’s participation in the Contest or to the receipt, use, inability to use
or misuse of any prize; and
· Any
unauthorized third party use of any Contest Entry
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that:
· Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by the United States District Court in the Austin Division for the Western District of Texas, or the appropriate Texas State Court located in Travis County, Texas;
· Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and
· Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
· All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction) which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law. Remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. If any provision is determined to be overly broad, it will be limited and enforced to the extent allowed by applicable law.
